Elizabeth is home!

After more than a month of waiting, Eliza is home! And the best part is that her wig issue was considered a defect by American girl. They replaced her head for free. 😄

She came in a doll hospital box.

Doll Hospital, Here Comes Eliza

So, while doing Eliza-Beth's hair for the modern picture, i discovered that her wig is coming away from the wig cap in strips. Nice even rows peeling away from the base of the wig cap. I know this isn't from styling because this is the first time I took her hair out of the ponytail she came in.

Acording to a few of my boards, the doll hospital is quite backed up right now. So it can take about three or four weeks for repair. 

I've only used the AG doll hospital to fix "silver eye" on a doll. That was a positive experience. So i'l hoping a new head is easy surgery for Elizabeth. 

I shall find out. Meanwhile I'll be missing one of my favorite dolls! 😟
