Michael's Crafts Haul

I've never looked at Michaels for doll things before! What was i thinking?!?!

So the whole reason I went to Michael's was to find jewelry storage for my dolls. I thought this beading container would be perfect. For $12, even if it didn't hold everything it would be better than what I had.

It has a huge number of little compartments. I combined the small compartments in here with some other small ones I had and took out some of the medium-size ones.

I think my dolls have more jewelry than I do. Well, not quite but they have a lot.

Next I found this tiny little MacBook air prop. It's really a small mirror and cost $5.

So realistic! Now all I need is some screenshot static clings. 😉

These little white espadrille sandals fit the dolls perfectly. Will be a great mix and match item. Think they were about $4.

So this outfit was only about seven dollars for the T-shirt and skirt. It's purple. I couldn't resist.

Great pieces for mix-and-match.

This one was $10.

I love the yellow and the fabric is supersoft.

So there you have it. Watch for these outfits and upcoming blog posts!

Who Will She Be?

So, a fellow adult collector attends the Madison Children's Musium benefit sale every year. For the last few years, she has volunteered to pick up dolls for people who can't attend. This year, i was one of the lucky ones to get a doll from ET's trip to the sale!

I gave her a list of three dolls and asked her to pick one for me. It was hit or miss as to if or who i would end up with.

Here are the dolls i gave her in my list- #16, #52, or #38.

#16 -  brown-black hair, brown eyes.

#38 - red hair hazel eyes and freckles.

#52 - blond hair, green eyes.

She arrived on Wednesday!

Oh the anticipation of my new cutie!

So, guesses?

And she is #16!!

Boxes from the MCM sale are usually a little beat up!

Ok, so i don't need two of this outfit. May put it up on ebay...

Beautiful dark hair!

Ahhh! She is so ADORIBLE!!!!!

There is something just darling and unique about her. I can't put my finger on it, but she has so much personality!!

She is a unique doll who needed a unique name. She will center in the early1900s-19teens. Unique elligant names were popular in the edwardian era.

Meet Briella!

Welcome to the doll family Brie!

Target Haul

So yesterday I went to target on a hunt for a few things doll related. Here's what came home with me.

These are actually my first Our Generation items. So let's take a look.

First up is the our generation styling chair. I needed the salon chair where I can secure my dogs while I do the hair for a while now. I absolutely refuse to pay the AG price. Not to mention it's pink. So it took me a while to find one that was not pink. I saw this on the target website and every time I went to target I would look for it. They finally had it yesterday.

It's a pretty bluish purple color with different color purple flowers. Even my husband called it "super cute."

I won't really be using the items that came with it, but that's OK. I'll probably just sell them on eBay.

Next is this multi compartment organizer I found in the home organization section.

It is three removable compartments-the two long ones on either side and the divided one in the middle.

It's absolutely perfect to hold all my doll hair styling supplies.

Finally, I found the "RV seeing you" food/accessory set. This is something I've been looking for for a while as it actually has a mix of health and junk food.

This set has over 50 pieces! And let's face it, who doesn't love doll food?!

Look at that! The hotdog even comes out of the bun! Granted a child would probably lose almost every single one of these little pieces. But an adult collector like myself? Perfect for display and photography.

So watch for these items in future blog posts and on my Instegram (@visionofadoll)!

Meet Nora

Meet the newest custom in the house Eleanor Lynn Potter!

Nora is my look-alike dial and her time. Is my childhood. Nora is that "different" girl. She is super smart; yet school does not come easy. She has an outstanding memory and can still remember the words to the solo she saying in kindergarten. She loves to read anything she can get her hands on and can't fall asleep at night without an audiobook.

Nora has a body from a my AG with freckles, a #55 wig, and Marie Grace's eyes.

What a darling! Don't you agree??

Help me name her!

She's #64 and she needs a name!

She has a middle name - but needs a first name. Help me pick between these, or suggest another.

I'm considering:
Vanessa
Jayden/Jaden/Jadyn
Shawla
Brooklyn
Braden/Braiden/Braydan
Ralyn/Raylin/Raelyn
Shailyn/Shaelyn

I'm working on something special with/for her. 😊

Priya in Peach

So it's really really hot here today. I was afraid to have Priya outside too long it's that hot!

I got this outfit in the mail today though and just had to put it on her and take a few pictures.

It makes for medium skin tone look really pretty.

And now, back to my doll related project. Debuting soon!
