Truly Me Store Report American Girl St. Louis

First of all a shout out to the personal shopper at the St. Louis store Carmel Parker! She is absolutely a rockstar!!!! I'm pretty sure it's impossible for me to say enough good things about her.

Tuesday I made the two hour trek across town by bus to the American Girl store to see the new items in person. This was a pretty small release, all things considered. Here are the photos from my visit.

Truly Me logo on a doll tank they were giving out.

Here is the pretty new lavender truly me box

Here they are! The three new dolls

This one has a modified just mold. If I had the money, I would have gotten her too!

She is super cute for another blond hair blue-eyed doll.

And of course you've already seen her.

The two display cases of truly me dolls. I feel like there should be one doll standing in front of each case facing the other dolls directing the doll choir

A showcase of all the accessories

The doodle outfit is reminiscent of the outfit girl of the year 2008 Mia St. Clair came wearing.

The outfits for girls.

The hammock into of the new outfits

In store exclusive sailboard

The new true me doll box

The quite heavy activity book that comes with each Truly Me doll

And that's it!!

The St. Louis store is quite small compared to some of the others but they always do a very tactful job  displaying their stock.

Kid, or kid at heart, Carmel will make your experience at the St. Louis American Girl store.

Meet Priya

Priya is a bright, quiet girl who always thinks before he speaks or acts. She loves learning and reading anything she can get her hands on.

She is one of the three new dolls released on May 21, 2015-Truly Me #62.

She has the absolutely beautiful Sonali face mold, and amber eyes.

Her hair is also a new medium length. Not too short, and not too long.

Priya is a gorgeous unique style who I feel helps round out my collection.

Cloudy days

I have been able to capture very few pictures between the raindrops lately.

You're a few that came out.

Kate and Anna enjoying the shelter of the tree.

"It sure is wet!"

Eliza grabbing some rare rays of sun.

Eliza hoping for more sunshine and less rain.

Stories and Secrets

Molly and Meg are two chatty girls!

They can sit for hours and talk.

Some days they talk the whole way to school.

And on others they gossip about anything they can come up with.

But the best days are the days they share their hopes, their dreams and the secrets of their hearts.

For it's on those days they know they are true friends.

Josie and the Native Dance

What a beautiful day to dance with the sun and shadows Josie thought.

She began to move her feet to a beat only she could hear.

She danced as if no one was watching. Tuning her mind to the bells on her dress.

All too soon, the promise of storms threatened with a far off roll of thunder. Josie had to hurry home fore she did not like storms.

Until you shine again oh SUn.

Sunshine Yellow

Kate took this beautiful day to get out in the sunshine.

"I absolutely love the feel of a tree. So strong and solid."

What a difference a change of footwear makes in the look of a dress.

Such a beautiful morning to relax under the tree.

Good Ole Molly Olly

It was too nice of a morning not to take Molly outside and get some photos.

She's still so "typical girl"! Even after all these years.

Is it just me, or does she look a little chubby and photos?

Then again the Pleasant Company dolls were chubbier than American Girl dolls.

Hoy es Cinco de Mayo

Since today is Mexican Independence Day (Cinco de Mayo), I thought it fitting to feature Josie.

It's an extremely bright "feels like summer" day here. So getting pictures was a challenge.

The sun was warm but Josie didn't mind.

Sweet Josie wishes she could dance the day away.

The Magic Moonstone

Meg walked outside. It was a chilly morning and Mother had made her wear a swetter.

The sun felt warm as Meg walked to school. "I wish i could spend the day at the park." She thought.

She vowed to go by thw park after school.

Her Mother had also made her wear a big floppy bow but Meg secretly had tucked a clip in her school bag for later along with her glasses case.

After school she ran to the park. Maybe Anna would be there! Meg loved hearing stories of Anna's time travels!

"Meg!"

Meg turned to see who was calling her. "Felicity!" She squealed! "Boy am i glad to see you!"

"Me too! Lessons were just dreadful  today!" Said Felicity.

"Look there's Anna!" Meg said excitedly.

"Who is she?" Felicity asked.

"She's a time traveler! She has the best adventures!" Meg said.

Anna glanced down at her Moonstone, "where did I end up this time?" Then she looked up and saw Meg. Anna's eyes lit up. The young reporter!

"Hello Anna. I'm so excited to see you. This is my friend Felicity."

"Felicity, how wonderful to meet you" Anna said graciously.

Felicity took a step back. For some reason she was feeling shy around the older girl.

"Felicity, I promise I won't take you anywhere with me unless you want to. Meg and I have been on a few adventures together, but even she was hesitant at first."

Felicity tentatively reached her hand out to join the other girls. She felt a jolt of excitement.

Anna smiled, "i see you to feel the moonstones power."

"Indeed," said Felicity. "How does it work?"

"That is a great mystery," said Anna with a smile. "But it allows me and anyone with me to travel to far-off lands, Magic places, and deep into the past."

"Wow," said Felicity.

"Yes Anna has been on a steam engine, back to the middle ages, and even to the far east," exclaimed Meg.

Felicity sighed. "It must be so exciting to travel through time."

"it is. But alas I must be on my way," anna replied.

"Fairwell!"

And before Meg and Felicity could even blink, Anna was gone.
